DESCRIPTION:2024 Debtor-Creditor Section Annual Meeting and CLE\nFriday\, September 27\, 2024\, to Saturday\, September 28\, 2024\n11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. / 8:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.\nIn-person at Salishan Coastal Lodge\, 7760 US-101\, Gleneden Beach\, OR\n6.75 General and 1 Access to Justice CLE Credits (pending)\n  \nThis year’s OSB Debtor-Creditor Section CLE program will include presentations on available remedies when dealing with distressed commercial real estate\, tax reporting requirements in bankruptcy\, pro bono opportunities across the state\, pre and post confirmation issues in individual chapter 11s\, case law and legislative updates\, a panel presented by judges from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Oregon and Lincoln County Circuit Court\, and a discussion on the implications of the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Harrington v. Purdue Pharma L.P. on third-party releases in bankruptcy led by distinguished University of Oregon School of Law Professor Andrea Coles-Bjerre. The program provides a forum for networking opportunities with attorneys\, trustees\, receivers\, and judges from around the state.
