The Bankruptcy Clinic is a free service provided by the lawyers of the Oregon State Bar Debtor Creditor Section in partnership with Legal Aid Services of Oregon. The clinic is held once a month and consists of a class available to everyone, and attorney appointments which must be arranged in advance. (Clinic services are limited to Chapter 7 Bankruptcy only)

The Eugene and Southern Oregon clinics are currently being organized and expected to begin serving individuals in late spring.

Bankruptcy Clinic ECF Waiver

The Bankruptcy Court has approved a limited waiver of the ECF filing requirements for attorneys who intend to provide legal services on a pro bono basis to chapter 7 debtors. This ECF waiver is available on a limited basis to attorneys whose only work in bankruptcy court is pro bono work. Please click here for the ECF Waiver Application and click here for the ECF Waiver Order or go to the Bankruptcy Clinic section of this website for more information.
